The 2012 gala was held over the weekend of 11th-13th May.
Many have dubbed this gala a “bit of a mess” (notice some of the loco headboards!) due to the main convoy of locomotives not making it! However, GBRF were able to step in at the last minute to slightly redress the balance and actually produced a really good gala in the end. Locomotives in attendance were D5401/50026/57312/73136(again!) and resident 33111. 08436 was also used for brake van rides between Corfe Castle and Motala.
