2007 was the first gala proper at Swanage and was held from 11-13 May.
Locomotives featured were D1015/47635/73136/73208 as well as (resident at that time) D8188 and D6515 which is permanently based at Swanage. Also in use was the SWT 4-Vep 3417. As well as the customary Swanage to Norden trains running, there were also a regular shuttles operating from Norden to Harmans Cross & return.
